MARKET HOURS, RATES & LOCATION:

The market is open bi-weekly, on Sundays from

10:00 am - 3:00 pm between April 30 and October 15 2023


The market is located outside the Clayton Community Centre located at 7155 187a St, Surrey BC V4N 6L9

 
OUR RATES FOR 2023:

 

FARMERS$ 35.00 flat fee per market for up to 40' of space (4 x 10' tents or space for your tents and your vehicles)

ALL OTHER VENDORS$ 50.00 per single market for a 10' x 10' space (your own tent, tables, and chairs). There is no minimum on dates booked, you are more than welcome to sign up for one market at a time (fully pre-paid, non-refundable).

 

FOOD TRUCKS $ 75.00 per single market for up to 40' of space. (quiet generators ONLY!)

The Clayton Community Market is made up of a diverse community of farmers, artisans and food preparers.
 
VENDOR CATEGORIES

Farm Vendors – fruit, vegetable and plant growers, wild harvesters of fish and non-timber forest products, dairy and cheese producers and ranchers of meat and poultry. Everything is grown or harvested in BC.

Prepared Food Vendors
Vendors who are producers of prepared foods in which the ingredients have been altered from their original state, including but not limited to bread, preserves, sweet treats or prepackaged snacks.

 

Vendors fall into two categories: Lower Risk or Higher Risk as defined by BC Centre for Disease Control. For more information on food safety at the market and an outline of lower and higher risk foods, refer to the Guideline for the Sale of Foods at Temporary Food Markets document. Please confirm the status of your product with your Environmental Health Officer. Please familiarize yourself with the information contained within this guide before applying to become a vendor.

Lower Risk products must provide:

  • Food Safe or Market Safe certificate.
     

Higher Risk products must provide:

  • Letter of Confirmation from their local Health Authority

  • FoodSafe Level 1 or MarketSafe certificate

Please kindly note that we are no longer allowed to have liquor vendors at the market. We no longer accept MLM or direct sales vendors.

Handmade Vendors – potters, textile artists, painters, photographers, woodworkers and more.

Small Businesses - local businesses who sell unique, boutique style items. 

Food Trucks & Beverage Service – Our market is complemented by a rotating schedule of food and coffee trucks who provide the freshest, most fun, most flavourful market fare, with an emphasis on local and seasonal ingredients.
