Our delicious old-fashioned cookies are a big hit at Farmers Markets and events all over Western Canada.
How long will they last?
They will still soft and chewy for 4 or 5 days, and then begin to dry out. If you want to keep them for Christmas, they freeze and thaw perfectly. Thea recommends that you place the cookies in a tightly sealed, air-tight plastic container or bag first, to ensure that your cookies do not get freezer burn. They will thaw and be the same delicious chewy texture they are now.
Do they contain nuts?
None of our cookies contain nuts; however we do use nuts in the bakery. The chance of contamination is very very low; the only way nuts can contaminate our cookies if a small trace is left on a baking sheet. Our bakers do not handle nuts and then handle cookies, without complete food safe procedures in place.
